Art and pricing

Today I reviewed my price structure and faced the fact that it wasn’t really solid. I used to price the paintings I loved the most higher prices. Which is a really amateur thing to do. I’m very inspired by Stefan Baumann, my art coach, who is an advocate of a solid pricing structure (you can watch his video here). From today onwards, all my oil paintings will be sold for $3 per square inch + any additional costs like photographing the art and adding picture hanging hardware. The price will go up every year as I develop my skills, my eye and most importantly - my heart as an artist.
